Good evening all members/parents, Please note we have to cancel this Sunday (29th Jan 2012) trials and sign on day as SCHA was meant to have a meeting on monday to pass the budget regarding player fees, this meeting was cancelled due to the bad weather and has been rescheduled for next monday 30/1/2012. We are unable to set our club fees and finalise the last things before sign and need to have this done before sign on can take place. Also the rainy weather is planned to not let up and forecasts predict severe rain all weekend, we need to take precautions and we have decided to cancel this weekend and continue as planned for the weekends of Sunday 5th & 12th Feb 2012. We hope to have the Maroochy RSL membership forms available next week too at sign on for all members to fill. If you are a current member of Maroochy RSL you will need to bring your 2012 membership card with you as proof of membership. Due to the kind generosity of the Maroochy RSL club's sponsorship all members are required to join the Maroochy RSL when they sign on. Attention club members,
Due to the lack of attendance for our club AGM last Sunday 4th December 2011 at Cotton Tree we did not have enough members to be able to hold the meeting. Therefore, we have rescheduled the AGM to Sunday 15th January 2012 @ 3pm at Cotton Tree Park/BBQ area (opposite Habits Restaurant, same area as last year).
Please make the effort to attend this meeting as this is your opportunity to have your say and put forward any suggestions for the club.
Also we will be conducting trials for Div 1 and 2 teams if you are interested in playing in these divisions/teams. You will need to attend the trial dates which will also coincide with our club sign on for all members and teams. These dates will be held at SCHA Ballinger Rd and are as follows:
Sunday 29th Jan 2012 @ 4pm
Sunday 4th Feb 2012 @ 4pm
Sunday 11th Feb 2012 @ 4pm
By these above mentioned dates we hope to have a list of appointed coaches, team training times and start dates and 2012 fees information.

Congratulations to the Div 3 Mens and J1 boys teams who played in the Grand Finals on 9th September and 10th September respectatively. Both were great games. The Div 3 Men came away with a win in drop offs, making them both minor and major premier champions for the 2011 season. Good luck to all members heading off this weekend for SCHA and Queensland rep duties. |
